I haven’t done a Christmas tree craft in a long time, and this one was a lot of fun to make. I got all of my materials at Michael’s and it was less than $10. Oh, well, excluding the paint. I had that already. It was also easy to put together and took less than an hour. I hope you like it!
Things You Will Need:
Gems
Paint
Brush
Glue gun
Wooden Tree
Colorful ornaments
Step 1:
Place your wooden tree on some old paper and paint both sides of each section. I chose green paint to keep it traditional, but the options are unlimited.
Step 2:
When your paint dries, use your glue gun to adhere the gems.
Step 3:
Either tie or glue your ornaments onto the tree.
B-E-A-U-tiful! Some would argue that this is better than a real Christmas tree 😉 Haha, just kidding. Nothing beats the real thing!
Happy crafting!
Yay! You have a tree up!
I knew you would be excited!
This IS Beee-U-ti-Ful! 🙂
Haha, thank you!!!
That’s so nice! A pretty kid-friendly too!
Yeah, absolutely kid friendly! They would enjoy making it I think. They would probably need some help with the bead at the end but, otherwise, pretty simple. I’m trying to perfect a smaller pair, but that isn’t going so well.
That’s what experimenting is for! There are no mistakes, just happy accidents.
Haha, I enjoy that outlook!
I think with art, that’s the only outlook to have.
True story!
Lovely X-Mas tree, Megan. Merry X-mas:)
Thank you 🙂 merry Christmas to you as well!
