Keng Lye is a Singapore-based artist who makes realistic looking three-dimensional painted sculptures of animals.
The artist’s technique is very similar to the painting technique used by Japanese artist Riusuke Fukahori. The sculptures are made of acrylic paint layered on epoxy resin. Lye paints his sculptures in buckets, boxes, and bowls with an amazing sense of perspective. The artist then photographs each sculpture like you would capture a still life.
