DIY remote organizer upcycle

It’s tough when you don’t like having a lot of things in your house but you also don’t like to throw stuff away if you can reuse it. That’s the basis for the craft project.

I have a few cigar boxes laying around that I’ve been thinking about upcycling for a while. This weekend, I finally did it. Wohoo!

It’s really easy and prob took less than 30 minutes. Want to try it? Keep reading.

Cigar box organizer supplies

Step 1: meadure and cut

Measure the sides of your cigar box.

Cut scrapbook paper pieces to those sixes.

Step 2: glue the paper to the box

glue your scrapbook paper to the sides of the cigar box.

You should have something that looks like this.

When you’re finished, you’ll have a fun new place to store your tv, XBox and other remotes.

You can even makes separators to better organize your things if you would. Use cardboard and glue for that. My box wasn’t big enough to need those, but they would make a fun addition.

I’d love to hear your thoughts! Leave them in the comments.

Happy crafting!
