I’ve made my DIY Peppermint Lavender Lotion over and over again, and I love it. But I get bored easily so I wanted to sweeten it up a bit. I’ve been experimenting with some new scents and I think you’ll really enjoy this DIY Creamsicle Lotion. I keep opening the jar because it smells so good! I wish I could let you smell it.
Things You Will Need
Jar
Hand mixer
Mixing bowl
Shea butter
Coconut oil
Vitamin E oil
Sweet almond oil
Sweet Orange essential oil
Step 1
Using the hand mixer, mix the following together in a large bowl:
- 1 Cup of coconut oil
- 3 TBSP of shea butter
About a minute should do it.
Step 2
Add the following oils and mix well:
- 30 drops Sweet Orange essential oil
- 3 drops Vitamin E oil
- 3 drops Sweet Almond Oil
Another minute should be enough.
You should have something that looks like this.
Scoop it out of the bowl and into a glass jar with a lid.
Voilà! Your very own, sweet smelling, natural lotion.
