DIY Shirt Design

This is a pretty easy one. It only has two steps and is under $10. Everyone likes cheap crafts!

By the way, if you are looking for a tee shirt that is this yellow you are better off going to JoAnne’s or Micheal’s. I looked at 3 different department stores before I gave up and went to the craft store. Apparently, most people don’t prefer to wear bright yellow 😉 Ohh well, it is my new favorite gym shirt!

Things You Will Need:
Tee Shirt
Fabric pen
Cardboard

Step 1:

First, put some cardboard or thick paper inside the shirt to keep the ink from bleeding through to the other side. Then, pick a design or wording and begin drawing/writing.

Step 2:

Get out your iron, heat it up and slowly go over your design or lettering. The heat will set the ink from the fabric pen and you will be able to wear it immediately. It is always a good idea to wash it first though. 🙂 It wouldn’t be good if you (or the person you are making it for) is allergic to the ink.

Happy crafting!
