It’s summer. It’s warm and sunny (sometimes) and it makes me think of flip fops, bright pink nail polish and toe rings. I like them a lot, and used to have a few. Instead of buying more, what does a maker do? We make our own.

I took a trip to Clearwater, Florida with family earlier this year. I saved a water bottle full of sand and seashells in hopes of making a fun craft in memory of the trip.

Just about every year I make a lists of gifts to get the man in your life for Valentine’s Day. Why not one for her too?
