The 3Doodler is the world’s first 3D pen. Yes, seriously! This pen was designed by a company called WobbleWorks based out of Boston. The company recenty launched a Kickstarter campaign to sell the new device. As you draw, the 3Doodler releases a special plastic that is heated but cools and solidifies instantly to form solid structures. What a great idea! The 3Doodler sounds like it is so much better than the available 3D printers. (Those printers take forever and are quite expensive.) Check out the video below to see how it works!

What will they think up next! Amazing 🙂
I was actually talking to a friend the other day about this thing. He said he doesn’t think they can improve this (but he doesn’t like it the way it is). I’m waiting for them to roll out the next version 3Doodler in the next year or so… I bet it will blow people away.
