This is probably the coolest use of recycled materials that I have ever seen. If not the coolest, its def in the top 5!
Jeremy Mayer is an artist from Oakland, CA. Typically he recycles typewriter parts to create full-scale human figures. Recently, though, he used those pieces to create something different, these beautiful bird sculptures.
I found it interesting that Jeremy doesn’t glue, weld, or solder the pieces. He simply reassembles the pieces to fit together. That has to be a lot of work (and dedication).
