DIY Sugar Scrub

I’m giving you a really easy one this week but I’m not slacking on quality. I’ve seen this made a bunch of times but I never like the ingredients so I’m making my own.

Why don’t I like it? Because it is always made with baby oil or something else that claims to be good for your skin. Last time I checked, petroleum jelly was not good for your skin. We will substitute veggie oil! Much better. And you won’t smell like a baby then either.

thinks you will need:
Mixing bowl
Vegetable oil
Measuring cups
Granulated sugar
Essential oil (optional)

This is literally the only step:
Pour 2 cups of sugar into the bowl and slowly add in the vegetable oil until you have your desired consistency. Add in a few drops of essential oil if you want. I used peppermint and it smells fantastic!

If I had another step it would be to shower and try it out 🙂

  1. Oohh I like this! Fantastically simple too! I love ex-foliating, it feels so so good but can be very expensive to buy good ones. Thank you! 🙂 x
