Creative Bookshelves

Etsy is always my go-to site to find something creative and unique. Not only is in a site for buying those unique and creative things, but it is also a site for inspiration. There are some wonderfully creative people out there and they deserve a lot of credit.

So, in my search for some creative bookshelves for my apartment, I found some great ones to share with you! I hope you like to read as much as I do, because I doubt you will enjoy these as much if not.

Industrial style pipe bookshelf

Industrial pipes for a shelf? What a great idea!

Batman bookshelf

Seriously, how much more awesome does it get? I don’t know anyone who has a batman bookshelf! Unfortunately, I will be needing a bit more space.

Piston book shelf

This bookshelf is made with real pistons! I got a little bit excited about that.

Balancing book shelf

Very inventive! You couldn’t fit too many books on this one but it is definitely a unique, creative element.

Artist: WoodCurve

Melting bookshelf

This is definitely my favorite! I always liked the wonderland/fairytale look and Salvador Dalí is one of my favorite artists. Can’t beat that!

Alright, so this one isn’t actually a bookshelf. It is an iPhone case. BUT being an iPhone user and loving books makes this case an awesome combination!

I hope you guys enjoyed these. 🙂

  1. your featured “artist” is nothing but a rip-off artist. he has copied literally everyone on Etsy. The original designers for the majority of his inventory should be who gets the credit

    • Hi Andy,
First, I don’t have one featured artist in this post; there are several different artists with work on Etsy. The blog post is about creative bookshelves that I found on the site and knew my readers would enjoy. I didn’t say they were unique.

Second, the people with the original design ideas are very creative people, and they should get credit for coming up with the idea. But that is not what this blog post is about. I did not get into the research. I simply wanted to share what I found.

I have not given anyone credit for someone else’s work. If there were any issues with copyright or patent then I would be happy to correct it. As far as I know, all of these artists own the rights to their own work.

That being said, you are entitled to your opinion, but I think you could have gone about it in a more tactful way.
