Oh Sweet, Sweet Vandalism

NOTE: Everything in this article is against the law. If you do it, you will go to jail or something.

Most of us think of graffiti as an urban art relegated to back alleys, rap album covers and all of New York City in the 1980s. But sometimes an artist comes along who proves that with enough creativity, vandalism can transcend typical scribbles and dick pictures on the wall. OK, maybe we spoke too soon about the dick pictures, considering …

DIY Travel Kit

When you travel it is always beneficial to keep all of your things organized. You keep all of your clothes in one area, the shower supplies in one area, etc. So this is the perfect, easy-to-make solution to carrying toiletries. If you are making this for the men in your life I would avoid the ribbon, ha. Maybe going with a leather strap or velcro would be a better idea. Enjoy 🙂

Things You Will Need:

Ribbon
Wash cloth

*I forgot the ribbon in my materials picture 🙁 Just imagine that it is there. Read the whole post

Inventive Costume

I have a friend and coworker who (or is it whom?) I admire very much for his creativity. This year, for Halloween he made his own costume (as always) and it is pretty awesome! Check it out. He made ALL of it using supplies from Michael’s and Lowe’s. I’m very amused with the backpack 🙂

I stole the top image from Casey’s facebook. All other images were taken by me. Enjoy!

Casey, feel free to add your input 🙂 Great attention to detail, by the way. Read the whole post

DIY Quote Mug

I loved making these! I want to make so many more.

It was a pretty easy one. Once you buy the markers everything is inexpensive. Sadly, the markers cost about $16 at Michael’s (I think that is where I got them). It really isn’t that bad of a price considering you will have them for a very long time and can write on just about anything with them: glass, metal, porcelain, stone, metal, and wood.

It can be run through the dishwasher or heated in the microwave too! Read the whole post
