I love that she understands to put a body on the head and that it can be whatever she wants it to be. That is one of my favorite things about children, their ability to think freely. I hope she never loses that!
I saw this article and also loved it. The combination of her mother’s faces and her bodies, and the imagination the little girl has, it’s fantastic. Gives new meaning to “think outside the box.”
Absolutely. They said that all children are artists, or i suppose Picasso said that. Regardless, we all lose a bit of that as we grow into adults so it is nice to see that the mother embraces her daughters inner artist. Its lovely! Thanks for your comment 🙂
I hate that we lose that as we get older, or it’s relegated to fun stuff to do, but not career-worthy. Even the simple exercise of using your mind creatively, and all the talk of innovation…seems to get forgotten unless it leads to a “practical” way to make money.

They want creative thinkers, but in a concrete business model. They know what to do with that, keeping businesses running and making money. Art is very different, and enriching, but they don’t understand it.
