George Grie | Modern Surrealism

George Grie is a Russian-Canadian artist. He is well known for his surrealist style in 3D and 2D art. Grie’s work was heavily influenced by other famous surrealist artsists such as Magritte and Salvador Dalí, fantastic realists Zdzisław Beksiński and Wojciech Siudmak, and surreal photomanipulation artist Jerry Uelsmann.

Animator VS. Animation

I loved Animator VS Animation when I was in college.

I took a class on Flash animation my sophomore year. I had no idea what I was getting myself into, so I was looking up YouTube animations to see what kind of possibilities there were. I found a lot of them but Animator VS Animation was my goal because it was simple, yet fun, and I knew it was within reach. It was my inspiration then and sadly, I am still amused by this video. DIY Semi-homemade Lotion

diy bottled lotionI’ve never tried to make my own lotion before today, but I would say the experience went well. Although, this is a semi-homemade lotion I still plan on making my own from scratch someday; I just have to do a bit more research. It seems like some people like using coconut oil with baby lotion and vitamin E lotion but I wanted this to be more fragrant. None of the vitamin E lotion that I found was scented and I didn’t want to mess with essential oils just yet. Read the whole post
