Nicolas Delort is an illustrator based in Paris, France. His website is http://www.nicolasdelort.com/ but it seems to be under construction, so I am going to send you to his blog and Tumblr instead. Delort’s work consists of pen and ink illustrations on scratchboard that were inspired by works like American Gods and Harry Potter.

Glitter nail polish
Solid color nail polish

This week’s Make Something Mondays project is a DIY ombre tote bag. Everyone seems to be so excited about the ombre style that I wanted to see what the hype is about. The whole way through this DIY, I kept thinking it is only okay. When I finished it though, it looked beautiful! I’m a big fan. Maybe just because the tote bag is pink? I’m not sure. I hope you guys enjoy this one! Read the whole post

As a designer, I’ve always been interested in color theory. During college, I took some psychology and sociology classes because the why behind everything sucked me in. Why do I like the color black? It isn’t a bold color that draws you in… Wondering is one thing, but I took it to a whole separate level and researched it, because I wanted to know why. Read the whole post

I haven’t had a chance to draw in a loooooong time. So I sketched a little bit when I had a chance today. My subject of choice: 1970 Ford Mustang. A gorgeous classic car. My dad would be so proud!
